Over the next decade, $1.2 trillion in federal spending — an average of $109 billion annually — will be trimmed in similar "sequestrations."

Virginia pizza shop offering discount to gun owners

Slice by slice, one Virginia Beach, Va., pizza shop is showing its support for the Second Amendment by offering fifteen percent off pies to gun owners. "All they have to do is show me that they're carrying a weapon or they can show me their concealed weapons permit and they can get the discount," says All Around Pizza owner, Jay Laze. Laze started the offer after a Utah frozen yogurt shop made headlines earlier this month for also giving gun toters discounts.

Restocking the herd: Bighorn sheep brought to East Humboldt, Calif.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife, in collaboration with their International partners of Canada (Alberta Fish & Wildlife), released a herd of 20 Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in the "big rocks" area on the Angel Lake Road. A total of 17 ewes and three rams comprised the herd, which were captured at the Cadomin Mine in Alberta. The purpose of this release was to reintroduce these sheep into the East Humboldt Range, as several bighorns in this area, died in the winter of 2009-2010, due to pneumonia.
