MVP RV builds an all-electric RV
Riverside Press-Enterprise    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Brad Williams, president and CEO of MVP RV, hopes that his all-electric RV paves the way for more charging stations down the metaphorical road. The company's first and only all-electric model traveled 65 to 70 miles per hour for 180 miles on one charge, Williams said. The second all-electric RV, currently in development, will likely have a better range, he said. Much like monitoring a fuel gauge during a trip, a driver would have to watch his electricity use before running out. More

RVing Examiner    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
A report issued by Veterinary Pet Insurance lists the 60 most unusual objects ingested by pets in 2010. Many of the 2,000 foreign body ingestion claims revolved around the usual suspects with socks, hand towels, sticks, and rocks proving to be some of the most popular pet "snack" choices. Other ingested items were not quite as common and included; a jellyfish, denture adhesive, a hearing aid, a tent door, 16 steel wool pads, a barbecue brush, jumper cables, a squirrel, a TV remote control, a foot-long submarine sandwich and a fire log! However, the kicker has to be the 25 to 30 soiled diapers ingested in a single sitting by a ravenous pooch with a clearly undeveloped palette. More
