Coming soon to your mailbox! January 2013 Porsche Panorama
In the January 2013 issue, Panorama checks out the last 930, a 1989 Turbo Cabriolet Flachbau that took Porsche AG two years to complete. The PCAer who ordered the car shares the story of how it evolved from a simple order into the most highly individualized customer car ever made - with leather gauge faces, a six-speed transaxle, factory-installed 17-inch wheels, and far more.
You'll also read about Indy 500 champion (and PCAer) Dario Franchitti's early 911 hot rod as well as a 200,000-mile 944 on its very last road trip - across Africa via Egypt, Syria, Kenya, and Namibia. Prescott Kelly checks in with an expert analysis of the white-hot market for open 356s while Bob Chapman takes a probing look at Porsche's 997 GT3 RSR as it heads into its final year of competition without the support of the factory or ALMS stalwart Flying Lizard Motorsports.
