With momentum of the 2011 Championship behind them, the drivers and crew were confident of their ability to deliver a strong performance and hopeful of delivering a Rolex 24 win as well. The challenges were many, with one of the largest and most competitive fields in Rolex 24 history. Although the hoped-for win proved elusive, Brumos delivered a dominant performance, with the #59 leading the race for 281 laps before ending on the podium with a 3rd place finish. More

Porsche salutes its iconic 911: Video
Motor Authority Share
When it comes to sports cars, perhaps the most iconic one of all is Porsche's storied 911. In production since 1964, the basic shape of the car has changed little over the past five decades, although the car's engineering has kept pace with the times. Few cars can match the 911's racing heritage, and even fewer can match the number of first-place trophies on the 911's shelf. More

First Drive: 2013 Porsche Panamera GTS

Jonny Lieberman writes, "In master Italian storyteller Umberto Eco's latest novel, 'The Prague Cemetery' the despicable and horrifically offensive narrator says, 'Their abuse of beer makes them incapable of having the slightest notion of their vulgarity, and the height of this vulgarity is that they feel no shame in being German.' I mention this not only because it's funny (in an admittedly cruel way), but because recently the gathered worldwide automotive media was told - by a man with a straight face - that power-wise, the new Porsche Panamera GTS nicely fills the gap between the 400-horsepower Panamera 4S and the 500-horsepower Turbo." The Motor Report Share
The hardtop twin to Porsche's new Boxster has been spied testing in Northern Europe. Dreams of ratty Porsches don't come cheap with this original 1956 356A coupe
Undoubtedly the idea of stumbling across a Porsche 356 in neglected but solid original condition is the stuff of gearhead dreams. The relative mechanical simplicity of the 356 and it's iconic shape lend itself perfectly to the idea of driving and enjoying it in slightly deteriorated original condition. More

European Car Magazine Share
Ian Kuah writes, "Tales of valuable classic cars turning up as barn finds are the stuff of legend. And when you dig deep into the history and the lives of their owners, the story behind such a car is usually a fascinating one. I first came across the Beirut RS when I was speaking with Josh Sadler, owner of Autofarm, the world-renowned independent Porsche specialists based in Oxfordshire, England." More
