Porsche puts finishing touches on capital hike
Porsche is about to hit the road with a 5 billion euro ($6.8 billion) capital increase, paving the way for a planned merger with Volkswagen, two people familiar with the matter said. Bankers at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley have finished preparations for a capital hike with Porsche's owners -- members of the Porsche and Piech families -- one person familiar with the auto maker's thinking said. Porsche Panorama receives PIAG award
PCA's magazine, Porsche Panorama, has received a Best of Category Award for a Magazine Series in the 2010 Print Excellence Competition from the Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia.
According to PIAG literature, the Print Excellence Competition "showcases today's finest technology and craftsmanship in print, imaging and finishing." The criteria for judging included visual impact, illustration and half-tone detail, finishing, richness and tonal qualities of color, degree of difficulty, paper and ink selection as well as consistency. Judging was based on a series of three issues of Porsche Panorama from 2009.
In accepting the award, Panorama gratefully acknowledges the design skills of creative director Allen Lane, the photography and image management of Leonard Turner and the exceptional team at RR Donnelly-IPD who print the magazine each month.

PCA places finishing touches on Tech Tactics 2011 event
Tech Tactics is a day dedicated to all things Porsche related to Tech. Tech Tactics has become a PCA National event and will be hosted at the PCNA Training facility in Easton, Pa. This facility is perfect for a "hands on" type of event. This facility is used to train Porsche technicians on the intricacies of the new Porsches. It is equipped with the state of the art classrooms with lifts and drive train assemblies which will be available for our event.
