Porsche takes top spot in dependability study

Porsche shot to the top of a closely watched study of long-term vehicle dependability, overtaking U.S. and Japanese rivals, J.D. Power and Associates said. The German sports car brand took the No. 1 spot in the annual study, which gave it ninth place last year. Lincoln came in second, while Buick and Lexus tied for third. Mercury and Toyota rounded out the top five. More

Three things at Sebring more exciting than the race
Sebring is arguably one of the most important races of the Motorsport season for Porsche. Not only does it kick off the 2010 ALMS series, it's the venue where Porsche has more wins than any other manufacturer and home of their first long-distance, endurance race win in 1960 by Hans Herrmann. Rather than cover the ins and outs of the race, we'll leave that to the press releases and just let you know that Porsche took 1st place on the podium in the P2 class and GTC class and fourth in the GT2 class. Porsche says no to smaller Cayenne SUV
Porsche has given the thumbs down to a smaller-sized SUV within its lineup. Autocar reports that company insiders said that Porsche doesn't want to risk a smaller SUV encroaching upon Cayenne sales. They cited "strong evidence" for the Audi Q5 steering sales away from the Q7. More
