Video: Rally Ready at Team O'Neil
Is rally driving as fun as it looks? Can a Porsche 944 make a good platform for a rally car? I recently visited Team O'Neil Rally School in New Hampshire with amateur rally driver Charlie Tameris to answer both questions, and in short, the answer is an emphatic "yes" to both.

2015 McLaren P1 vs. 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder comparison
Cars like these appear once every decade or so. When they do, they spark fervor and spectacle with their radical designs and advanced technology. They both benchmark the car industry and show its future. They signify when everything changed. There was the time before the Ferrari F40 and Porsche 959, there was the time before the McLaren F1, and there was the time before the Bugatti Veyron. There was the time before today.
Video: Watch this and you'll cherish the Porsche crest even more
This video may be considered a "classic" two years after being posted to YouTube, but it never gets old watching how Porsche Classic manufacturers original-style hood crests.
Fifty-nine members randomly selected for chance to purchase 911 GTS Club Coupe
Congratulations to the 59 PCA members who have been randomly selected for the opportunity to purchase the 911 GTS Club Coupe! Those lucky members were contacted via email and have until tomorrow, March 25, at 5 PM EST to confirm whether they are still interested in purchasing a Club Coupe or not. If any members decline to purchase the car, PCA National HQ will randomly select members from the registration list until the spots are filled. For primary members who aren’t in line to purchase a Club Coupe, be sure to keep your PCA membership current for a chance to win one in a drawing this summer.
Turbo props: Vintage Porsches are ascending to new heights among collectors
It is called the giant killer. The Porsche 550 Spyder sits near the back of the Ingram family’s storied collection of Porsches in a beautiful old Studebaker warehouse in Durham, N.C. It lies in wait, ready to attack, like it did when it raced on circuits across the United States in the mid-1950s, slaying foes alleged to be much more formidable. Cam Ingram circles around the Spyder, taking in from every angle the unadorned beauty of the first production racecar Porsche ever made.
Porsche Boxster Spyder pinned for 375 hp
On the back of confirmation that a brand new Porsche Boxster Spyder will be revealed this year for a 2016 market launch, it has emerged that the stripped-down Boxster will receive the same 911 Carrera S engine as the recently introduced Porsche Cayman GT4.
Such claims refute previous indications that the new Boxster Spyder wouldn’t receive any more power than the Boxster GTS and instead only feature less weight. Car Magazine goes on to state that while the new Porsche Boxster Spyder will utilise the 375 hp engine of the Cayman GT4, it won’t feature all of the hard-tops chassis modifications.

Digital Autobahn: The world's largest used car lot
By Jason Gonzalez
I have bought and sold dozens of Porsches in the last 10 years. There are only two that I didn't find online and only one that I didn't sell online. The best deals I have made — on both sides of the transaction — are when I work with educated buyers and sellers. I've pretty much got it down to a science at this point. I thought I’d share a few basic ideas that I use that might help you find your next car or find a good home for your current one.
Porsche scares Aston Martin into changing their new car's name
The car in this article is the Aston Martin Vantage GT3. At least, it used to be.
The car is now the Aston Martin Vantage GT12, thanks to a threat of a lawsuit from Porsche, who feel like they own the whole "GT3" thing.
Indeed, if you look at what Aston did to make their GT3, they did pretty much what Porsche would do. There's the same blend of dropping the car's weight and suspension while correspondingly jacking up its price tag.
I need an off-road Porsche 911 in my life
The best car in the 12 Hours of Sebring paddock wasn't one of the party trucks that wandered around with fans yelling "WOOOO" in the bed, or any kind of latest-and-greatest supercar. Nope. Not even close. It was this 1986 Porsche 911 jacked up on nubby tires with a million rally lights up front. I'm...I'm in love.
Band of Porsche 911s roll deep with new Rauh-Welt Begriff 'Super Musashi'

Renowned tuner Nakai-San, owner of Rauh-Welt Begriff, rolls deep in Vancouver, Canada, where he just finished his latest Porsche 911 project known as the "Super Musashi."

1974 Porsche RSR sells for a sizzling $1.2 million
Unwavering design, racing prowess, and sheer exclusivity are three factors that sell top dollar vintage Porsches. In the case of this gorgeous 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 RSR… provenance played a big part as well.
That’s because this rarified 911 belonged to Mexican Formula 1 driver Hector Rebaque, which explains why it rang home a towering final bid of $1,237,500 last weekend at Gooding & Company’s Amelia Island auction.
Escape to Rushmore 2015: Oct. 1-3
Experience the exhilaration of driving your Porsche through history. Roam the hills with free-ranging buffalo, mine for gold at an old miner’s camp, explore some of the world’s largest caves, dine where Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok once called home, tour monuments like Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Escape to Rushmore 2015 is an event that you will not want to miss.
Porsche CEO Matthias Mueller throws hat back in ring for VW CEO job
Toward the end of February it got leaked that Porsche CEO Matthias Müller was being promoted to Volkswagen's supervisory board. Müller's credentials and his success over 36 years at the VW Group have, for observers, put his name in the pool of potential candidates to succeed current group CEO Martin Winterkorn when Winterkorn retires in two years. But the 61-year-old Müller told German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung earlier in February, "It's no solution to put a 63-year-old at the head of Volkswagen," and the statement was taken to mean he wasn't considering the job.
Müller now says the quote was misunderstood.
Porsche of the Week
We took European delivery of a new Macan S in Leipzig on September 1, 2014. We then drove seven passes in the Alps, including the Furka Pass in Switzerland, one of the most beautiful and challenging passes in Europe with lots of switchbacks, cows, super bikes, and blind curves.
