2013 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA)
PCA
Once again, PCA Hill Country Region is coordinating ticket sales for PCA members for the 2013 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.  The race dates are Nov. 15-17, 2013. While there has been a lot of publicity and speculation about tickets, HCR says COTA has not finalized negotiations with TicketMaster for sales to PCA Members. COTA is holding a block of 1000 tickets in the top 7-8 rows of the Turn 12 grandstand. This is the same place we were located last year. And the tickets are priced the same at $499.00 per person. Parking permits will go on sale at the same time at the same $150 price as last year.

HCR asks that you do not contact COTA marketing to buy tickets for the PCA location. This will just complicate the process and COTA will not sell tickets to PCA members at this time. HCR has direct contact with COTA marketing who are developing the process for the sales to PCA members. HCR will update everyone through e-Brake. When the final arrangements have been made with TicketMaster, we will let everyone know as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, contact Scott Smith at hcrpcatreasurer@gmail.com.

Every racetrack has its own history and significance, but few of them are as special to Brumos as Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala. Last season Brumos followed up their Rolex 24 podium with another podium celebration at Barber. This year they again bring strong momentum from their previous race and hope to duplicate that success. Barber is close to home for both Andrew Davis and Leh Keen, who will have many family members and friends in attendance. The track is also home of the Porsche Sports Driving School, making it a frequent destination for instructor Andrew Davis and Chief Driving Instructor Hurley Haywood.

Porsche Club of America to visit Traverse City, Mich., for 2013 Porsche Parade - Registration is OPEN!
PCA
PCA's showcase event, our annual Parade, will return to Traverse City, Mich., for the first time since 1989. A hidden gem for many, TC - as it's known to locals - is one of America's best-kept secret resorts. Known for its laconic beauty, its high-duned coast along Lake Michigan, and as the tart cherry-capital of America, TC offers a great variety of touring destinations, scenic, well-surfaced roads, beautiful vistas and a sophisticated small-town atmosphere as a home to a vibrant art, literature, and film community. Parade's host, The Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, offers an amazing array of amenities, activities and facilities that will make this year's Parade one to remember. The Concours will be on-site, steps away from the hotel and Concours prep area. The two day autocross will be held at nearby Antrim County Airport. The Parade TSD and Gimmick Rallies will cruise through some incredibly beautiful scenery and visit several historically significant sites. And of course the Tech Quiz will have you wishing you'd read just one more book and checked your collections of manuals for the umpteenth time...

Let's not forget all the other great Parade activities for kids and adults that Parade has become known for over the years: the Art Show, the Hospitality Center, the driving and bus tours, the 5K Run/Walk, the RC car autocross and more, more, more! This year's Parade in Traverse City, Mich., is already gearing up to be another one to be talked-about for the ages. For more information, go to parade2013.pca.org Registration for the 2013 Porsche Parade opens on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. All registrations entered by midnight Thursday, March 14 will receive equal and highest priority. There will be no paper registration.
