PCA members to honor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche
With the recent news of the passing of the father of the 911 and 904, PCA members will honor F.A. Porsche by displaying a black ribbon across the Porsche logo on their cherished vehicles. They will maintain this display until the 2012 Porsche Parade in July. At Parade, PCA members will celebrate the iconic cars which have evolved from Mr. Porsche original designs.

The Porsche 911, with its sloping roof line, long hood and powerful rear engine, has been a sports car-lover's fantasy for the half century since its 1963 introduction. Matthias Müller, President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche AG, paid tribute to Ferdinand Alexander Porsche's services to the sports car manufacturer: "We mourn the death of our partner, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. 2012 New York: 2012 Porsche 911 named World Performance Car of the Year
The all-new 2012 Porsche 911 has been named the 2012 World Performance Car of the Year at the 2012 New York International Auto Show, during a press conference hosted by Bridgestone Corporation. The seventh-generation Porsche 911 was one of the 34 new-for-2012 vehicles selected for the annual awards program. Porsche increases customer deliveries in March by 21 percent
Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, has made a flying start to the beginning of spring: in March of this year, the sports car manufacturer sold 12,094 vehicles worldwide, achieving an uplift of 21.2 percent compared with the same month the year before. Purchasers of the new 911 Carrera Cabriolet models in particular were able to enjoy their first outings in their Porsche with the top open. More
