All of the ingredients were in place for another strong finish for Brumos Racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Round 3 of GRAND-AM Rolex Series competition. A test day at the track showed a solid car and the forecast of rain was actually considered a plus, given the expertise of the Brumos drivers and strength of the Porsche 911 GT3 on a wet track. Andrew Davis was confident of his chances for a pole position, but when the session was rained out, he settled for starting from 3rd based on points for 2012. More

Anticipating a positive response from customers in the Porsche India range, German sports car maker appointed its parent company, Volkswagen Group, as the official importer of its vehicles in the country. Since 2004, the Zuffenhausen-based manufacturer has delivered a total of 1,052 units to its customers in India, 85 percent of which are Cayenne SUV models. More

German sportscar maker Porsche is bracing for slower sales growth in China this year as the country's premium auto segment loses momentum amid a slowdown in economic growth. China's economy grew at its slowest pace in the first quarter - 8.1 percent against 8.9 percent in the previous three months - in three years. Chinese auto sales climbed 4.5 percent in March to 1.4 million, but slid 1.3 percent over the quarter. More

Gary Dixon's 1957 Speedster was a popular stop at the All Porsche Show at the Triple XXX Rootbeer Drive-In in Issaquah Sunday, April 29, 2012. It is all original, down to the color, called 'auratiam', a color that was only used on 14 speedsters. The only thing Dixon added was heated seats, to aid the substandard heating system. Dixon just sold it, and the car will be soon headed to Carmel, Calif. More
