2. The 1st Porsche 356 toy

This story begins with a phone call to the front office at the 356CAR — Vice President Jim Reeder's place of business in Fremont, Calif. Never one to pass up a Porsche conversation in the middle of his work day, Reeder took a call from Jeff Gasparitsch, who was eager to tell the story about his father Victor Gasparitsch and his personal history with Ferdinand Porsche and what turned out to be the Gmünd Coupe. Reeder listened in amazement as the following incredible tale unfolded from Jeff Gasparitsch. Any idea what the first Porsche toy ever made was?

3. Where the car is king
The Wall Street Journal
Tim Wellborn's two-story garage in Alexander City, Ala., spans 14,400 square feet and can fit 12 cars upstairs and six below. The walls are made of New Orleans brick, and the concrete floors are stained to look like stone. For entertaining, there's a Cuban mahogany bar with granite countertops and an eight-seat theater.

5. Porsche Boxster and Cayman named 2013 World Performance Car
Porsche
At a ceremony hosted by Bridgestone Corporation at the New York Auto Show, the Porsche Boxster and Cayman were named the 2013 World Performance Car. The Cayman celebrated its world premiere only last November at the International Motor Show in Los Angeles, while the Boxster has been on the market now for a year.
