Smiles are contagious — and so is Porsche ownership
By Noelle Talmon
Has this happened to you? You buy/inherit/restore a Porsche that you love dearly, but you realize you could love a second one just as much. Or a third. Smiles are contagious, and so is Porsche ownership. I'd like to own three — one for the track/autocross, a daily driver and a vintage one. Perhaps some have one Porsche that fulfills two or even three of these requirements, but most of us aren't so lucky. My first and only Porsche is vintage, and replacing it would be unthinkable. I'd love to start a collection, but first I need a bigger garage.

The V8-powered Porsche 965 that almost became a 911

PCA National volunteer position available: RegionFocus Coordinator
PCA
We are looking for a volunteer to take RegionFocus to the next level. Rather than unilateral distribution of a lengthy newsletter, we are searching for a PCA Region Officer (past or present) who will send periodic articles to regional management and then promote discussion of relevant topics via a management forum on pca.org. That is, while the RegionFocus Coordinator will compile and distribute relevant articles, the RegionFocus Coordinator will need to be comfortable leading and moderating discussion in an online forum.

Register for the Monterey Parade!
PCA
Parade will be held Sunday, June 15, until Saturday, June 21. Registration is now open. A guide to all events is on the Parade website at parade2014.pca.org, and you should use that to help you plan your week. All registrations will be accepted but be aware some events fill quickly and then go to a “waitlist” status.

The Parade registration system pulls its information from your PCA account, so please ensure you have all your information up-to-date, and that you know your PCA website logon information (user name and password). We especially need a current email, as all Parade information is sent to that email.

We are fortunate to have blocks at five different hotels this year — you will be in good company no matter which one you choose!  Once you have completed your Parade registration and have received the confirmation email (within a few seconds) with both your entrant number and special hotel authorization codes, you will be ready to reserve your accommodations. Remember that lodging reservations are subject to availability — you will want to book as soon as possible after registering for Parade to ensure your preference.
