The ubiquitous little phrase that tags the Porsche name is "pure performance." Porsche has conquered hearts with a combination of speed, looks and the luxury quotient ever since its inception. Now it has won over even die-hard environmentalists with solid green initiatives that has left all other automobile makes far behind. Every new Porsche model demonstrates improved performance and efficiency, laced with environmental protection features with a clear goal to reduce CO2 emissions significantly.

GRAND-AM Founder Jim France to wave starting flag at 24 Hours of Le Mans

A month out from the 90th running of 24 Hours of Le Mans sports car endurance classic, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) today announced that GRAND-AM Road Racing founder and NASCAR Vice-Chairman Jim France will wave the French flag to start the race on Saturday, June 22.

Porsche says Panamera S-E Hybrid consumed 4.4 liters / 100 km during 42 journalist test drives
World Car Fans
Porsche has organized a series of test drives with the 2014 Panamera S-E Hybrid to analyze the car's fuel consumption in real world conditions. 42 test drives were conducted by journalists who covered a distance of more than 1,200 km (745 miles). The average fuel consumption was of 4.4 liters / 100 km (53.45 mpg US or 64.20 mpg UK). The lowest fuel consumption was registered at only 2.8 liters / 100 km (84 mpg US or 100 mpg UK).

Paul Van Cleven's Steve McQueen piece

Paul Van Cleven is a watercolor artist from Belgium who has already participated in many different international watercolor exhibitions.

His latest artwork is based on the movie "Le Mans" with Steve McQueen. This piece will be displayed mid-October in Salon International en Autriche at the PALAIS DES CONGRES DE INNSBRUCK. During and after this exhibition, the original artwork will be on sale for 1800€. Van Cleven will also sell 10 numbered framed copies on aquarel paper for the price of 900€ per signed copy.

2013 United States Grand Prix tickets and parking

Hill Country Region is pleased to announce that tickets and parking passes for the 2013 United State Grand Prix are now on sale. The PCA reserved section is again located in the upper 7-8 rows of the Turn 12 grandstand at Circuit of the Americas. And the pricing remains the same as last year with tickets priced at $499.00 and parking passes at $150.00. Please follow the link below to purchase your tickets and parking passes. There is a second link that will allow you to purchase additional parking passes at a later date. The password for both sites is: CARRERA. COTA has not set any cutoff date for ticket and parking pass purchase. If they do, we'll advise as soon as we can.
