The brand has unnerved purists in recent years, first with the launch of its hulking Cayenne sport-utility vehicle, then a four-door sedan called the Panamera.

PCA Photo of the Week
PCA

This new-to-me 1992 964 turbo finally showed up after 20 years of waiting. I took it to a local waterfront at 6 a.m. and took a few pictures of it. It was not until I got home did I notice the "use at own risk" sign strategically placed over the hood. Seemed appropriate for a single turbo rear wheel drive beauty putting out over 420 HP!
