Everybody wins at Parade
Thanks to our sponsors, everyone is a "winner" at the Parade! Even if you don't bring home a trophy from a Parade event, there is a very good chance you will bring home something else, something that can be directly attributed to our sponsors. From high fidelity radios provided by Bose to tires from Bridgestone, Kumho, Michelin, Pirelli and Toyo, door prizes abound at our banquets (especially the Volunteer Party). And don't forget that special Porsche sponsored Grand Prize – the trip to Germany, including a tour of the Porsche Factory. In addition to that wonderful donation, Porsche has partnered with PCA in the complete restoration of a 1973 911T. The winner of this raffle will be announced at the Victory Banquet this year in Savannah, Ga. (Pictured: Hans Peter Porsche with last year's grand prize winner) More

Porsche's 911 GT3 R Hybrid Version 2.0
Last year in the Nürburgring 24 Hour race, Porsche's 911 GT3 R Hybrid held the lead for more than eight hours before problems unrelated to the hybrid system saw it relegated through the field. The organizer of the event thought the performance potential of the vehicle was so auspicious that for this year it crippled the rear-mounted petrol engine's performance to just 448 bhp. So Porsche built a completely new vehicle to the same design around the new regulations, lowered the weight, upped the electrical drive to the front wheels to 200 bhp and set out to run the same lap times.
