July Panorama
PCA
Issue 676 launches a revitalized Panorama — not only larger in trim size but also completely redesigned for the first time in more than 25 years.

Appropriately, the redesign issue's first feature focuses on another beginning: Porsche's 1949 Gmünd coupe, and our cover car is still driven by its owner on the streets of Southern California. As one chapter opens, another closes, so Senior Editor Joe Rusz and crack photographer Linhbergh Nguyen paid one last visit to the legendary shops of Andial before the doors were shut for good.

Congratulations to the PCA Newsletter Contest Winners
PCA

Though the winners were announced at Parade, we'd like to again congratulate our winners and also thank all the region newsletter editors across PCA for volunteering their time and efforts for assembling one of the most critical channels of regional communication. It has to be one of the hardest volunteer positions to recruit for. So the next time you see you local region editor, give them a big pat on the back. Or even better, volunteer to be an editor!

The experience of winning a Porsche to a Porsche guy is something we dream of and somewhat equivalent to winning the lottery or winning a house for that matter. The incredible experience of surprise is difficult to put into words other than the initial shock followed by a roller coaster of emotion and elation

Video: Amazing Porsche teardown time-lapse shows how complex engines are
Jalopnik
Raphael Orlove writes, "Tearing down an engine: how hard could it be, right? Uh, pretty hard, by the looks of this spectacular Porsche engine timelapse. I always figured that taking an engine apart couldn't really be that hard. The more I stare at this video, though, the more dumbstruck I am with how many components go into even a relatively simple, old engine."

Its design is pure Porsche, and looks just right on all wearing them.
