Win a set of Michelin tires, attend the 2015 24 Hour of Le Mans — 435 registered and ONLY 65 spots left!
PCA
Yes you read that right. Michelin, the presenting sponsor of the 2014 Werks Reunion, is providing substantial prizes for Werks Reunion attendees. The first official drawing items will be a set of Michelin street tires (1st), Michelin jacket (2nd), and set of Michelin tire covers (3rd). To enter for a chance to win one of these three items, simply register your Porsche in the concours or corral by July 25.

In addition, all registered Werks Reunion concours and corral entrants will be automatically entered for a trip (airfare/lodging) for two adults to the 2015 24 Hour of Le Mans.

All winners must be present August 15 with their Porsche on display in the concours or corral to claim their prize. Prize restrictions may apply.

We have even more prize announcements to come. Keep in mind that only 65 registration spots remain. Don't delay. See you in Monterey!

Porsche Motorsports Event Notes for the Brickyard Grand Prix
Porsche
Since the introduction of the Porsche 911 RSR in 2013, the most advanced version of the iconic German sportscar has performed on the racing’s biggest stages. A one-two finish in the GTE-Pro class at the car’s inaugural 24 Hours of Le Mans in June of 2013 was the car’s first victory. When Porsche North America, the official factory GT Le Mans (GTLM) class team, debuted in 2014, it did so with a maiden victory in the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. That was followed by a victory in their class at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway.

Now, a trio of Porsche 911 RSRs come to perhaps, arguably, the most famous race course in the all of world, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Impressions of Ennstal
Porsche
A mountain prologue, routes through the Tauern Mountains and a city Grand Prix: the Ennstal-Classic means total pleasure for lovers of classic cars. The Porsche Museum sent 11 cars from its collection to Styria in Austria. Just under 200 drivers and their co-pilots completed a course of roughly 500 miles divided into several stages. The aim of the classic rally was to drive the cars at constant speed and not to drop below average minimum figures.

UK to Germany: Porsche 911 European road trip
FIA World Endurance Championship
Each of the manufacturers involved in the FIA World Endurance Championship build sports cars to sell to the public. Some are built to a lightweight specification, with weight savings for better acceleration and performance, but without many luxury items — essentially a road going race car. Others are built as the perfect Grand Tourers, with all the latest luxury items and space for luggage that make driving long distances a pleasure but blunt the performance due to the extra weight. However, there are some sports cars that provide luxury and mind blowing performance, with the latest incarnation of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe reportedly being one of those ultimate GT cars.

Video: Porsche 991 GT3 shows off front-axle lift system
Motor Authority via Yahoo Autos
The steep driveway. It's the natural enemy of sports cars and supercars around the globe. Ears and hearts ring out with anger and sadness when the familiar scrape of plastic or carbon fiber meets tarmac. Some have evolved to combat this issue. Lamborghini has been installing front-end lift systems for years now, and a handful of other cars have been following suit.

Building a dream: Starting to construct the 944 GTS and 951 GTS
By Jason Gonzalez
At the end of last year, we began discussing the design specs of a car that Porsche never turned out. What initially started as excited daydreaming evolved into speculation, research and even some heated discussions over the car that Stuttgart seemed to overlook. I came to a pretty solid conclusion that I would challenge myself and my team to produce a 944 Carrera GTS. I eventually decided to make a second car as well — the 951 GTS. I suppose you might like to know how far along I am in my project. Exit emotion and introduce logic.
