PCA Spotlight: Win a pair of LED Running Light Spars for your 987.1 Cayman or Cayman S
PCA    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article

Fellow PCA member Mike Santowasso recently met up with Executive Director Vu Nguyen and member Joseph DeSimone to install and evaluate a pair of LED Running Light Spars and Radiator Protectors on his 2007 Cayman S. These spars add that modern eye catching LED look to a 2006-2008 Cayman, and they also add a protection screen to keep road debris from reaching the radiators. Joseph created these parts for his own Cayman, and in the process became a manufacturer for them. This is a great grassroots effort that's resulted in a nice addition for Cayman owners.

Watch this 'Product Spotlight' video to see a recap of Joe's products, and make sure you check in at the Cayman Register to see Mike's review of the products, to watch the installation video and to enter for a chance to win one of two sets that will be given away. You can learn more here. Video here.

Porsche fight puts two 911 GT3 Cup cars in Watkins Glen GRAND-AM top five
Porsche    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
It was clear from the results that Porsche teams came to Watkins Glen International with a lot of fight in them. Porsches were in the heat of the battle from the first turn to the last of the two-hour Continental Tire 200 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race at the famous Upstate New York road course. All three of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars entered in the GT class of the event played major roles with Brumos Racing earning its second consecutive podium finish having just narrowly bested the Magnus Racing Porsche to the checkered flag. 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera offers both performance and livability
Chicago Tribune    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
What makes the redesigned 2012 911 Carrera exceptional is how it combines unprecedented performance and reasonable day-to-day livability with some of the visceral experience many sporty cars have sacrificed. Porsche redesigned its revered 911 Carrera and Carrera S, in coupe and convertible Cabriolet versions, but unfortunately the company manufactured both the sixth and the new seventh generations as 2012 models, so be sure you know which model you're looking at if you shop for one. Porsche preps a Panamera wagon concept for Paris Motor Show
Autoweek via MSN Autos    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Porsche will preview plans for a Panamera-based wagon concept in September at the Paris motor show. It is set to provide telling clues for the direction of a production version that could arrive in several years. This would lend an additional element for increasing Porsche's sales as part of parent company Volkswagen's ambitious growth strategy. A final production decision is expected to be made after gauging reaction to the concept car. It's unlikely to arrive before 2016. More

VIDEO: 918 Spyder caught testing on the streets of Germany
9 Magazine    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
More video of the 918 Spyder has surfaced while undergoing another round of testing. The Porsche 918 Spyder was recently caught driving around town in Germany wearing Martini livery. The video shows the Porsche 918 Spyder in what we believe to be the latest production ready iteration without any additional side air intakes as seen in the 918 video that went viral and was later made private by the contributor. This is for sure some great footage, and clearly shows the 918 from every angle. More
