PCA Event Spotlight - 2011 Escape attendees take their Cayennes on an off road excursion
This week, our light shines on the Cayenne off road Sedona tour during the 2011 Escape event in Arizona. Over twenty-five individuals took part in experiencing some of the most breath taking views of the Sedona mountains. But the most exciting part of the tour was that they went off road and over trail obstacles that most Cayennes will never experience.
Betsy Wadman summarizes well most of the participants' impressions, "We both loved spending one of our days off road. We have used our 2006 Cayenne S for many things from towing our travel trailer over the Canadian Rockies, to towing our 1973 911 to concours in Colorado, and even as an autocross toy ... but that off road experience was an amazing lesson in the true nature of our Cayenne! We have always called our car a beauty and a beast, but now we see it is even more true! I knew she would take care of me, the way she always has! I must be honest and admit I was nervous when none of the other women drivers wanted to try coming off that rock. As the day wore on and we both got behind the wheel, her power, brains and grace were more and more obvious."
