Porsche to open 6 dealerships in India
Porsche, a division of Volkswagen AG, will open at least six dealerships in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Mumbai. "The new business partners have started work on state-of-the-art facilities which will become operational in 2013 and provide customers with an unparalleled experience," the company said in a statement. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, has appointed Dr. Oliver Blume to the sports car manufacturer's Executive Board as successor to Wolfgang Leimgruber. Blume will head the Production and Logistics section as of Jan. 1, 2013. After well over 35 years with the company, Leimgruber will be going into retirement. But he will continue to draw from his experience to advise Volkswagen Group. More
