PCA Golden Era of Motorsport Oxford Shirt featuring Vic Elford
PCA is proud to offer for a limited time (production ends Dec. 31) a podium quality shirt honoring Porsche racing legend Vic Elford. PCA Escape to the Ozarks sets attendance record
PCA Escape is one of the "big" Porsche Club events of the year. It is a multi-event weekend, with a national attendance list. While the PCA Parade has a competitive focus, Escape is purely non-competitive. It is a socially oriented weekend focusing on camaraderie and friendship.
The 2012 Escape was held in Eureka Springs, Ark. Over 600 attendees, from 30 states, enjoyed banquets, driving tours, drives to local area attractions and a "People's Choice" car show. Arkansas, and Northwest Arkansas in particular, is blessed with stunning scenery and some of the best "driving" roads anywhere. Eureka Springs offered a wonderful Ozark Mountain getaway with plenty to see and do in the area.
Congratulations to the Leonard and Melody Zechiedrich, Chip Gibbons and the 2012 PCA Escape organizing committee for a fantastic event! Event spotlight video to come in the near future.
Mark your calendars for the 2013 PCA Escape to Los Angeles on Oct. 24-27.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS v. Ducati 1199 Panigale: The Rematch - Video
The Sports Car Guys Share
You may remember that earlier in the year Chris Harris drag raced a Porsche 911 GT2 RS against a Ducati 1199 Panigale. Well, at the end of that video, Chris reckoned that the reason the bike won was that it got a better start. So, to try and make things a bit more even, this time the drag race features a rolling start. Can the Porsche 911 GT2 RS keep up with the high powered bike, or will it once again lose to the Ducati? PCA Photo of the Week
In 1979, while going to college, I used to park my motorcycle a few yards away from a brand new gray 930 belonging to the owner of a service station close to the college parking lot. For years, I dreamed that some day I would own one like that, but I wanted it in "Arrest Me Red" (not knowing the color name). That day came when I purchased the "Dream Machine" in Sept. 2000.
The car is impeccable with 28,000 miles (I bought it with 18). Since a newer CD sound system had been installed and I wanted to bring the car to its original condition, I purchased a radio that should have came with the car (AM/FM with weather bands). I had the car shipped from the factory without a radio. Thanks for the opportunity to show my "toy".
