PCA Tech Tactics West sets a solid foundation for future events
This week our spotlight shines on PCA Tech Tactics West. With the support of Zone 8 region members and Porsche Cars North America, members were treated to a weekend filled with invaluable technical information from PCNA speakers, members of the PCA Technical Committee and a very special guest from Porsche AG: Dr. Frank Walliser, Project Manager for the 918 Spyder Program. And a special surprise...the unveiling of the new 991. PCA looks forward to making this west coast event an annual tradition. Video here.

New Porsche supercar to be built on Audi R8 platform
Porsche's new supercar, targeted squarely at the Ferrari 458, might be borrowing its underpinnings from the next-gen Audi R8. The German sports car manufacturer is already well on its way to developing the part-carbon fiber car, though what they have so far borrows heavily from Audi. It's not something Porsche is happy about, but Volkswagen, their parent company, sees sharing the underpinnings of the R8 and Lamborghini Gallardo as an easy way to save costs. More
