Kumho showcases PCA and the Porsche Parade in their 2012 calendar
PCA    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Charles van Heusden, along with other Kumho and Traxxas employees, were busy setting up the Traxxas track and Kumho rig for the 2011 Porsche Parade. As Charles went to set up the awning for the Kumho Tire rig, he saw the perfect opportunity for a photograph to commemorate the moment. He took the Traxxas radio controlled, Savannah identified, 911 edition race car and placed it on the ground alongside the Kumho Motorsports Truck. He then got down on his stomach and lined up a perfectly angled, depth-of-field shot with the mini Traxxas Porsche vehicle and the huge Kumho rig. When it came time to pick the photographs for their 2012 calendar this picture from the Porsche Parade fit in perfectly. Click here to see enlarged picture.

Building a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR for street use
Porsche Purist    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
For most, Porsche's street legal 911 GT3 RS is more than enough Porsche for both street and track. However, one man in Florida decided there was room for improvement. You see, it wouldn’t be practical (that word should be struck from an article like this), if even possible, to convert a track ready GT3 RSR for street use. You just have to find someone willing (and wealthy enough) to do so and a shop with the expertise to make it happen. More
