57 years of Panorama
RJ Wilmoth, National Historian PCA Share
Dec 1955 saw the first issue of Pano published. Click here to see a scanned copy of Vol 1 #1. As one (of many) that put out a region newsletter back when "cut and paste" meant scissors and glue, this first Pano is a pretty nice twelve-page effort. Editor Hank Mann already had three contributions from outside of the core group in the Washington DC area. One was Gene Bussian who is still an active PCA member.
With a change of editor, I thought it would be nice to take a look back to the beginning.
Here are the past editors.

Pint-sized Porsche replicas are perfect for budding enthusiasts
Gearheads around the world know that car culture is facing something of an existential crisis: Kids don't seem to care all that much about cars these days. Buying your child a scaled-down vehicle is one way to combat automotive apathy, but not every parent is willing to settle for the plastic-bodied electric 'Sclades commonly seen on suburban blocks from coast to coast. Porsche Boxster, Tesla Model S are best drives in 2012
Jason H. Harper writes, "Automobiles occupy an outsized chunk of my time. When you drive as many as three new cars a week, every week, slamming doors, pinching leather, evaluating gas mileage and figuring out how the radio works, the small stuff matters. I love the smart, outrageous and practical; and am exasperated by the wrongheaded, timid and abstruse." More
