More new disc golf courses popping up in America

K.C. Dermondy writes, "Recently, I wrote about some of disc golf's newest courses, and how they seem to be springing up all around the country. In Oregon, Molalla's Clark Park course is one of the newest and greatest. In North Carolina, a beautiful course was just created at Southern Pines Reservoir Park in Moore County." More

Greetings all disc golfing graphic artists! It's time to start thinking about the year ahead. The PDGA is now soliciting designs for the 2012 Ace Club and Birdie Club logos. Compensation in kind for the winning design will be a 2012 Ace or Birdie Club membership plus the 2011 Pro Worlds DVD. Disc golf to get an upgrade in Waupun, Wis.

If all goes well, Waupun, Wis., will have a intermediate and advanced nine-hole disc golf course in Waupun County Park by this time next summer. Ryan Mulder, vice president of the Waupun Area Recreation Project was excited when he learned this week that the Fond Du Lac County UW-Extension Education, Agriculture & Recreation Committee voted to approve the disc golf course in the western edge of Waupun County Par. After some issues with Am Worlds pools, the new ratings are now up. We have five players with ratings of 1040 and higher for the first time - Nikko Locastro, David Feldberg, Nate Doss, Josh Anthon and Shane Seal. Shane only has two rounds in Louisiana for his rating but he made them count. More
