They bought groceries along the way, cooked meals in their RV's kitchen, and paid as little as $15 a night at some campsites. The FTC is warning small businesses that an email with the subject line "URGENT: Pending Consumer Complaint" is not from the FTC. The fake email claims that a complaint has been filed against the company receiving the email. The FTC advises businesses to delete the email and not to click on any of the links or attachments—doing so may install a virus on their computer.
