For the past 18 months the SIM Enterprise Architecture Working Group has been working on a follow-up to their 2008 study (as reported in the SIM Guide to Enterprise Architecture (2010, CRC Press) and other publications). On Aug. 27, emails went out to all SIM members inviting them to participate in the new SIM Information Systems Practices and Capabilities State of the Art Survey. The purpose of this research is to help us all improve and prosper as IS professionals by better understanding the basic capabilities that enable us to align information technologies with the needs of the organization. Please help SIM and the EAWG in this important research and complete the questionnaire. Your personal link to the survey is provided in the email invitation sent to you. For more information, or if your invitation did not arrive, please contact professor Leon Kappelman at kapp@unt.edu.
