For as little as $125 annually, you can become a member of one of the oldest and most prestigious horticultural associations in North America. As a regional association, SNA works to advance the horticulture industry in the southeast by supporting and enhancing promotional, educational and research opportunities; gathering, analyzing and disseminating information and by providing an online marketplace to promote the exchange and sale of nursery stock and other allied products to our members – and the industry.

SNA would like to wish its members, partners and other industry professionals a safe and happy holiday season. As we reflect on the past year for the industry, we would like to present 10 of our favorite SNA articles for our readers to enjoy. Our regular publication will resume Jan. 15.

SNA Past President Dan Batson of GreenForest Nursery named Nursery Management's Grower of the Year
Nursery Management
From Jan. 16: Smart growth combined with innovation and some calculated risk helped GreenForest Nursery become a progressive and profitable company. With Dan at the helm, GFN has adapted production techniques to become an efficient operation, as well as adjusted product offerings to meet market demands. And during the past 30 years in business, Batson has dedicated much of his time to the betterment of the industry, not just his own nursery. No doubt why Nursery Management has named Dan Batson Grower of the Year.
