We could start to think that being in possession of the "right" or "best" equipment will solve our problems for us. To help shake off this mass media languor, here are a few tips to consider when sharpening up your concealed-carry mindset. More

Federal Appeals Court upholds ban on handgun sales by FFLs to persons under 21    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
On Oct. 25, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that it is not unlawful for the government to prohibit federally licensed firearms dealers from selling handguns to citizens between the ages of 18-20. The three-judge panel ruled unanimously, flatly rejecting the National Rifle Association's argument that the ban violated the Constitutional rights of 18-20-year-olds. In his 41-page ruling, Judge Edward Prado said that placing restrictions on who can possess and purchase weapons dates back to our founders, who targeted particular groups for public safety reasons, among those groups were loyalists, children and the mentally ill. NRA investigating story concerning Bank of America
NRA-ILA    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
McMillan Group International, a well-respected manufacturer of precision rifles, rifle stocks and accessories, reported that Bank of America had asked McMillan to close its accounts with the bank. The NRA strongly believes that it is completely unacceptable for a bank to refuse its services to a business simply because the business is in the firearms industry. For that reason, we have been in contact with both McMillan and the bank to gain a complete understanding of what happened and why, and to provide McMillan with information and assistance in an effort to solve the problem if possible.
