Hawkins retiring after 29 years at Winnsboro

During the past three decades, Buddy Hawkins established the Winnsboro girls basketball team as a state power. Ending one of East Texas' most decorated careers, Hawkins has announced his plan to retire at the end of the school year after coaching the Lady Raiders to state for the 12th time earlier this month.
