The sooner you begin to do business abroad, the sooner you'll be able to track metrics and gauge what is — and what is not — effective. More Want better meetings? Every shipment would have to be accompanied by a written declaration prescribed by the FWS that "indicates the shipment meets or exceeds the recommendation [certification and handling system] of the World Health Organization for Animal Health in its Aquatic Animal Health Code on Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis." Last week, search titan Google unveiled Instant Search, a staggering change to the way search results are delivered to users: The site returns results while the user types, without waiting for a click of the "Search" button, and it changes those results with each letter typed. The truth is much less dramatic than that, but Instant will instantly have an impact on retailers, notably those running paid search campaigns to drive traffic to their sites. More

Like other U.S. cities, Miami is getting more Hispanic every day — the whole state, in fact, continues to attract Hispanics in droves. In Oregon, Arizona, Texas and New Mexico, Spanish-speaking veterinarians are also in high demand. Oregon's 11 percent Hispanic population (and booming) means there aren't enough Spanish-speaking veterinarians to meet the needs of its newish-to-English citizens. More No questions asked? Driving into work a while ago, a radio commercial for major clothing retailer, the one on its "no questions asked" return policy, caught this author's ear. This national department store, like many others, will take back merchandise (worn or otherwise) without a receipt with no time limit for the return. Unfortunately, for Mom & Pop stores, the consumer has grown accustomed to these liberal return policies. More

The upsurge in pudgy pets has the same roots as the human obesity epidemic, vets say. Nutritionally unbalanced diets, too many treats and too little exercise all conspire to fatten up Fido. Thanks to these common causes, it's perhaps fitting that new pet weight-loss techniques, from interactive weight-monitoring tools to exercise equipment, are modeled after those meant for their two-legged companions.
