Cell-phone ban for CTA workers leads to 11 firings

Ten Chicago Transit Authority bus drivers and one rail employee have been fired in the last four months for violating the transit agency's new zero-tolerance rule banning the use of personal cell phones and other electronic devices while on duty, according to records obtained by the Tribune.
