Recent violence in Mexico prompts extension of travel advisory
The U.S. State Department has extended its travel warnings to certain parts of Mexico until August. The warnings — specifically discouraging unnecessary travel to Michoacán, Durango, Coahuila and Chihuahua — were extended because of continued drug cartel violence, a press release detailed.
