Charlottesville killing spurs high-level meeting about campus safety

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell said that his administration will consider changes to campus public safety policies and state laws to enable more information sharing between police and college administrators in response to the slaying of University of Virginia women's lacrosse player Yeardley Love. But McDonnell said law enforcement officials already have expressed "logistical concerns" about a proposal to require police to notify colleges when students are arrested.
