Plastics distributor Jamplast becomes ninth member of SPI's Bioplastics Council

The Bioplastics Council, a special interest group launched in 2008 by the Society of the Plastics Industry, has a new member in Jamplast of Ellisville, Mo., a distributor of plastics including biodegradable materials from NatureWorks and bioplastics-based compounds from Cereplast. Jamplast is the ninth company to join the Bioplastics Council. SPI's Bioplastics Council was created in order to provide a forum for resin and additive suppliers, as well as processors, equipment suppliers, and distributors, to promote the development of bioplastics.
