from AASHTO Journal
The Governors Highway Safety Association released a report that shows states are getting serious about reducing distracted driving. The report, "Curbing Distracted Driving: 2010 Survey of State Safety Programs," found that states aggressively are pursuing solutions to distracted driving, including stronger laws, new education programs and a growing reliance on new media to spread the message urging drivers not to distract themselves while behind the wheel.
