Indonesian airport opens as volcano activity slows

Officials say an airport near Indonesia's Mount Merapi has reopened after two weeks as volcanic activity at the deadly mountain declines. Transportation Ministry official Herry Bakti Gumay says the airport in Yogyakarta, 20 miles (30 kilometers) from the volcano, reopened after scientists said the air over the city was safe for flights.
