De Montfort University to develop skin cancer detection tool to save lives

Hundreds of lives could be saved thanks to a new tool being developed at De Montfort University in the United Kingdom that could help improve the early detection of skin cancer. The university, working in collaboration with the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust's Dermatology Department, has been awarded £75,000 to create a new device to help in the early detection of malignant melanoma skin cancer.
