More US adults own a smartphone than have a degree
More Americans own smartphones than hold a bachelor's degree or speak another language in their homes, according to a Pew Internet Project report. In a telephone survey, 83 percent of respondents said that they owned a cellphone of some kind and 35 percent of the 2,277 U.S. adults questioned in English or Spanish said that they owned a smartphone.
