 'Plant a Row for the Hungry' gave 11,000 pounds of produce last year

As more vegetables and fruits come in season, gardeners in Illinois will have the opportunity to donate excess produce for a good cause. Produce may be donated to local food pantries in Freeport, Pearl City and Lena through "Plant a Row for The Hungry."
