Register Now: Step UP! Bystander Intervention Program Facilitator Training And Conference

from ACPA

The University of Arizona is hosting the first ever Step UP! conference in May. Since its 2008 release, hundreds of colleges and other organizations are now using Step UP! — the award-winning bystander intervention program that teaches students how to intervene in problematic situations including alcohol abuse, hazing, depression, sexual assault, discrimination, anger, eating disorders, academic misconduct, and more. This is the first time a training dedicated to preparing administrators and other professionals to facilitate Step UP! is being offered. Don’t miss this opportunity — space is limited. This intensive 2-day training is intended for College and University professionals (including Athletics, Campus Health, Sexual Assault Prevention Programs, Greek Life, Housing and Residence Life, Student Affairs, etc.) as well as high school administrators and others who want to know more about creating a bystander intervention program. Scholarships are available. Sponsors and partners include the NCAA, ACPA, and the Bacchus Network. more
