Kids have always wanted to be like their sports idols. They mimic their batting stances, end zone dances and signature fadeaway jumpers. Recently, kids have a found another way emulate their favorite athletes: getting sidelined with injuries that were once mostly reserved for professionals. Physicians, therapists and athletic trainers are seeing a rise in sports-related injuries among children and young adults.
