Boeing exec sees upturn in air cargo market in the second half of 2012
from The Wall Street Journal
The global air-cargo industry could improve on its recent weakness in the second half of this year, in line with a firmer economic outlook worldwide, a Boeing Co. executive told Dow Jones Newswires. "We do believe that there will be an upturn in the second half of the year and that the air-cargo market will be particularly well positioned, because the maritime industry has mothballed a lot of their ships," said James Edgar, regional director for marketing at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
