Moving historic aircraft to museum a 'labour of love'
from The Calgary Herald
Two Rolls-Royce engines, each weighing more than 400 kilograms, a 13-metre-long fuselage and a box labelled Mosquito nose cone were some of the hundreds of items that arrived at the Bomber Command Museum. After a long fight to save a piece of Canada's aviation history, and months of logistical planning, volunteers moved the city's rare de Havilland Mosquito to a Nanton museum where restoration work will begin.
