Judge waits to rule on delay of NC bail bond law

A Wake County, N.C., judge is giving more thought before deciding whether to block a new law that gives a trade group lone authority to train bail bondsmen in North Carolina. Superior Court Judge Donald Stephens heard arguments involving a lawsuit filed by a firm competing with the North Carolina Bail Agents Association for training and continuing education needed for bondsmen to remain licensed.
