from The Dallas Morning News
Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman made her first visit to the company's Plano campus and liked what she saw of the former headquarters of Electronic Data Systems. "Wow! Who knew?" Whitman said as she walked into a sixth-floor conference room of the former EDS executive offices. "You can't help but notice this building." In an interview, she said she foresees a growing role for HP's North Texas, Houston and Austin operations in her multiyear effort to turn around the troubled computer giant, based in Palo Alto, Calif.
