LaHood: Florida needs distracted driving law
Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood recently told attendees at the first Florida Distracted Driving summit that Florida needs to pass a distracted driving law. "Three thousand people were killed and 416,000 injured due to distracted driving car crashes last year, and people are still stupid enough use cellphones while driving," LaHood said. "I am on a mission to get all 50 states to pass legislation to end the dreaded epidemic of distracted driving."
