Small Business Administration makes $50 million in business loans to veterans in Colorado
from The Denver Post
Veterans starting a small business in Colorado have landed more than $50 million in federal loans this year designed to finance successful startups, nearly double the amount loaned veterans last year, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration. As part of its Operation Boots to Business program, where the SBA partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense in developing entrepreneurship for vets, the Colorado office of the SBA said fiscal 2012 ended Sept. 30 with 115 business loans.
