Mission men get prison amid corruption probe

A couple of Mission men have been sentenced to federal prison for their role in a Duval County corruption investigation involving gun trafficking and two former sheriff's deputies, officials said. Jose Luis Tovar, 47, and his brother Jerry Tovar, 40, were part of a criminal organization operating in the county north of McAllen near Falfurrias, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Houston said.
