Albany metro adds jobs — but recovery from recession remains elusive
from Albany Business Review
Employers in the core Capital Region of upstate New York notched another month of job growth in November — but the goal of recovering what was lost in the recession will definitely have to wait until 2013, at best. The state released new jobs data Thursday. The numbers show that the Albany-Schenectady-Troy metro area added 5,900 private-sector jobs from November 2011 through November 2012. It's a net gain of 1.7 percent.
